This site is provided by Jennifer and Jerrold Bartholomew. Having long been described as an “old soul,”
Jennifer has always had a deep respect for and affection toward the older population. She loves the great state of Michigan, too, and wants to see Michigan seniors happy and well-informed. In addition to her other job of homeschooling the six Bartholomew children, Jennifer spends a good deal of her time researching topics related to the elderly.
Jerry is an elder law attorney serving the Metro Detroit area as well as other areas of Michigan. He is particularly interested in promoting integrity in professional senior services and in helping the elderly make decisions that are in their best interest. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Elder Law & Disability Section of the Michigan Bar, and the National Lawyers Association. If you have questions about the law or a related matter, he may be reached at his office at (800) 475-1729, or visit his elder law blog at www.MichiganElderLaw.info.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Bartholomew,
I’ve been following your Michigan Seniors blog and am impressed with your writing style and knowledge of baby boomers, the sandwich generation, aging parents, senior health, and related issues. As editorial director of SeniorsForLiving.com, I’m committed to developing the site to be a helpful resource for seniors and their adult children who are considering housing options. As such, I’m approaching bloggers like yourself with an expertise in these topics to gauge your interest in contributing blog material.
I’d love to speak with you more about this opportunity in the next couple of weeks. I’m looking forward to your thoughts on becoming a blogger correspondent, and hope we can work together in some capacity in the near future.
Thank you!
